Health ‘N Safety Policies

At Drop ‘N Play Kids, the well-being of our children and families is paramount. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of health and safety to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for all. Here’s a detailed overview of our policies:

1. Supervised Play:

  • Toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while in the soft play area. Our trained staff members closely supervise play sessions to ensure a safe experience.

  • Children aged 4 to 9 can engage in supervised play within designated areas under the attentive care of our experienced staff. Parents can trust that their children are in capable hands while they explore and interact with others.

2. Age-Appropriate Play Areas:

  • Our facility boasts specialized play zones tailored to different age groups, ensuring that each child receives developmentally appropriate activities.

  • The soft play area offers a gentle environment conducive to exploration and sensory play for toddlers aged 3 and under. It features padded floors and age-appropriate toys to foster early learning and motor skills development.

  • The main play area caters to children aged 4 to 9 and features an exciting jungle gym-style setup, complete with slides, tunnels, and climbing structures. Additionally, an arts and crafts area provides opportunities for creative expression and imaginative play.

3. Cleanliness and Sanitization:

  • We adhere to strict cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic environment throughout the facility. High-touch surfaces, toys, and play equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitized using child-safe disinfectants.

  • Hand sanitizing stations are conveniently located at entrances and throughout the facility for children, parents, and staff members to use frequently.

4. Health Screenings:

  • Our staff members undergo regular health screenings, including temperature checks, to ensure they are fit to work and interact with children.

  • We kindly request that parents keep their children at home if they are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, such as fever, cough, or runny nose, to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.

5. Emergency Preparedness:

  • Our team is trained in CPR and first aid to respond swiftly and effectively to any medical emergencies that may arise.

  • Regular emergency drills are conducted to familiarize staff and children with evacuation procedures, ensuring a quick and orderly response in the event of an emergency.

6. Parental Communication:

  • We value open communication with parents and encourage them to share any concerns or special requirements regarding their child’s care.

  • Parents will receive regular updates on their child’s activities and milestones during their time at Drop ‘N Play Kids, fostering transparency and trust.

By strictly adhering to these comprehensive health and safety policies, we aim to create a nurturing and secure environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our friendly team.
